2022-2023 REPORT

Heart for the House is a sacrificial offering over and above tithes and offerings.

This season marks a significant and miraculous step forward in the life of our church. By intentionally preparing and selflessly giving, our church is able to extend our reach and expand our influence to impact individuals and communities that are often overlooked.

Our heart is for freedom. Our heart is for people.

GENEROSITY: IS OUR LIFESTYLE

Words cannot express our gratitude and love for the many who have already given so much to our church! Today we find ourselves in a place to make a greater and more lasting impact in our world, our backyard, and our home. This is all thanks to the sacrificial giving of people who wholeheartedly believe in this cause.

Through this year’s Heart For The House offering we as a church are making way and will continue to take ground. This will enable us to remain in a position of strength as we continue to create a “WELCOME HOME” spirit as a church!

This is an important step for the life and health of our church, and if you are interested in being part of it consider the following two things:

PRAY: Prayerfully consider the opportunity to give in a new, above-and-beyond way. Our hope is for you to realize that we all have a part to play in this! Our collective sacrifice today sows for a harvest generations to come.

PLAN: True generosity and stewardship is often NOT spontaneous. It’s planned, it’s calculated, it’s budgeted, and its INTENTIONAL. Planning to be generous and to lead the way financially is a step of faith. Our prayer is that God will continue to encourage you on this journey of generosity and faith.

Last year’s Heart For The House was able to raise over $100,000! This year we hope to meet or exceed that. Join us in the next season of creating a church for the rest of us, where the lost are found, the found are free, and the free are empowered!

With Love and Appreciation,

Chris & Lori Lockemy

2022-2023’s Goals

OUR HOUSE

OUR HEART IS TO BUILD STRENGTH THROUGH STEWARDING THIS HOUSE

Digging wells, strengthening foundations, and establishing legacies are all examples of showing us how to maximize current opportunities and equip future generations to advance His Kingdom. As 2020 allowed us to purchase 1710 Delvale, in 2021 we made it our own, and in 2022 we improved it. In 2023 we continue Phase 2 of projects.

To support current and future opportunities we aim to replace the flat roof over the Life Center, overhaul the kitchen in Jones Hall, and install adequate lighting and signage inside and outside our building.

OUR REACH

OUR HEART IS TO SHARE THE GOSPEL AND LOVE OF CHRIST EVERYWHERE

While the majority of our ministry happens within the edges of our physical address, God has continued opening doors for Epic to be a voice of influence outside the four walls of our church.

Help us reach beyond our building through Watch Parties, social media, and live streaming improvements to see lives change that we may never meet this side of Heaven.

OUR OVERFLOW

OUR HEART IS TO STRENGTHEN THE CHURCH

AROUND THE WORLD

Jesus’ final command in the book of Acts was to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world. Essentially at your home, city, region, and the rest of the world. This charge still rests on the Church today.

Epic is blessed to be able to strengthen the global church every single month. Part of this year’s Heart For The House Offering will go to two particular projects - recovery efforts in Fort Myers from Hurricane Ian, as well as partnering with Jentzen Franklin Ministries to build Eshkol Trauma Center on the edge of the Gaza Strip.

PRAYER POINT

OUR HEART IS TO SEE GREATER CONNECTION

We are believing God is going to expand our influence locally in 2023 through divine partnerships. The Church is at its best when it’s being salt and light.

Along with our building, our reach, and these projects, please pray God continues to use Epic to come along side some community partners (i.e. police, fire, education, and government). Let 2023 be a year of growth numerically, spiritually, and in organizational relationships.

IN JESUS NAME!
