We are looking for a highly organized, faith-filled administrator who is passionate about people, administration, and the local church. This role is more than an administrative position—it is an opportunity to help create ministry environments where lives are changed and people encounter Jesus.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Youth Director serves as the primary leader of Epic Church's student ministry, helping middle and high school students encounter Jesus, experience authentic community, and grow in their faith.
This person will create engaging environments, build meaningful relationships with students and families, develop leaders, and help cultivate a ministry where the next generation can discover their purpose in Christ. The ideal candidate is relational, energetic, organized, and passionate about seeing students transformed by the Gospel.
This position is approximately 15–20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
Student Ministry Leadership
Lead and oversee all aspects of Epic's youth ministry.
Create engaging weekly gatherings and discipleship opportunities for students.
Develop strategies that help students grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Foster a welcoming culture where students can belong, connect, and thrive.
Relationship Building
Build meaningful relationships with students and their families.
Connect with students beyond weekly services through intentional communication and presence.
Partner with parents to support the spiritual growth of their teenagers.
Create opportunities for students to build authentic friendships and community.
Volunteer Leadership
Recruit, train, and develop youth leaders and volunteers.
Equip volunteers to disciple students effectively.
Foster a healthy team culture built on encouragement, ownership, and servant leadership.
Ensure all volunteers follow church policies and safety procedures.
Events & Outreach
Plan and execute youth events, retreats, conferences, camps, and outreach opportunities.
Create experiences that help students invite friends and engage with the local church.
Collaborate with other ministries and departments to support church-wide initiatives.
Help students discover opportunities to serve and make a difference.
Communication & Organization
Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and volunteers.
Manage schedules, calendars, and ministry planning.
Track attendance, follow-up, and student engagement.
Work with staff and ministry leaders to ensure effective ministry operations.
Qualifications
Strong personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
Passion for student ministry and discipleship.
Minimum of 2 years experience working with youth in a church, nonprofit, school, or similar environment.
Ministry background preferred.
Excellent communication and relational skills.
Ability to lead volunteers and build healthy teams.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Ability to connect with students while maintaining professionalism and leadership.
